What is the … Web1 jan. 2009 · I don't think that bearing buddies are a good idea. In fact they're questionable on boat trailers (although I have them on mine). Those 2.441 size ones won't be any tighter than your bearing cap that keeps falling off. They'd be over 1/16" smaller than the bore in the hub. I'll go to your other thread and add my 2c there about what to do.

If you're using older style seals then fit SS speedi sleeves and sealant, sleeve to axle and seal to hub.
