I rebuilt the seats and supports in the 80 and changed the seat height less than an inch and she squalled until I put it back to its original height. Once in the car there is enough room although the M seats seem narrow in the shoulders for me. I have more of a complaint with the BMW 4 door due to the B pillar placement and smaller doors.
