Webb8 juli 2016 · Standown was originally a retreat for Vietnam Vets. It still is but now anyone can use the park and it is so peaceful and beautiful it is a retreat for all. There is plenty of space so you never feel crowded. The birds and the resident ducks and ducklings add to the ambiance of the place. WebbStandown Park is situated half way between Tin Can Bay and Gympie on the Tin Can Bay Road. Radtke Road is directly off the Tin Can Bay road, opposite Counter Road, just 24km from Gympie and Tin Can Bay. We are two hours from Brisbane and less than one hour from Maryborough.
